We have Vumatel installed as our fibre network provider.  The are open access, so most providers have data packages on our network.  If a previous owner / tenant had fibre, then their should be a cpe (white box) inside the unit.  If not, most data providers will work with Vumatel to install one – in which case they install a line from the grey box outside your unit to somewhere inside your unit.

You can look at shop.vumatel.co.za to consider all your options.  When I checked last there were over 800 possible options.  I use https://ispspeedindex.netflix.com/country/south-africa/ as a guide as to see who will give you good streaming performance.  Also note that most providers will bundle the cpe installation when signing a 6-month to 24-month contract.

Speak to the trustees if you still have questions.  Be sure to chat to your neighbors.  If there are lines coming out of their grey boxes, then they generally have fibre.  They may give you advice on their customer service.
